Dora Ines Fernandez Trivino, age 74, of Palm Coast, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023, surrounded by family at her daughter's residence. She was born on May 15, 1949, in Carupa, Colombia, the youngest child of Guillermo and Georgina Camacho Garcia.
Dora spent her formative years in Colombia. At the age of 22, she embarked on a journey that led her from Miami to New York State, where she settled in the picturesque Catskill area and earned her Associates degree. Ultimately, she made Palm Coast her home in July of 1990. Dora dedicated an impressive 29 years of her life as a custodian at Flagler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her colleagues and friends.
A devoted member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Dora found solace and community in her faith. She possessed a deep love for gardening, found joy in the art of cooking, was an avid reader, and cherished her beloved chihuahua, Galan. However, her greatest source of happiness was derived from spending time with her children and, most importantly, her adored grandchildren. Dora's kindness knew no bounds, and she was always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. Her warm spirit and generosity will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Dora is survived by her three loving children: Carlos (Shannon) Trivino of Asheville, NC; Erika (Dan) Williams of Palm Coast, FL; and Enrique (Tina) Trivino of Colorado Springs, CO. She leaves behind a legacy of four grandchildren: Daniel Williams, Jr., Abel Trivino, Cyrus Trivino, and Josiah Trivino, as well as a great-granddaughter, Avangelee Fennick-Williams. Dora is also survived by her sister, Gloria Martinez de Betancourt, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Julio Enrique Trivino; her second husband, Enrique "Henry" Fernandez; and her beloved grandson, Anthony Fennick.
The family welcomes condolences and expressions of sympathy, which may be sent through the website www.CraigFlaglerPalms.com.
A memorial service to celebrate Dora's life will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Saturday, January 27, 2024. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral Mass will take place at 1:00 PM
