George R. Gold, 91 of Palm Coast, FL. passed away on November 28, 2021 at AdventHealth Palm Coast. He was born on June 5, 1930 in Bendzin, Poland to the late David and Alice Gold. George served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon his honorable discharge he then continued with his education and earned his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and then achieving his MBA from Seton Hall University. George worked as a Controller for General Cable for several years and then went to work for Penn Central. Once he retired, his love of travel led him to his second career as a travel agent. George also enjoyed music and dancing. His memberships included the Elk’s Club, Jewish War Veterans and was a former board member for the Flagler County Library. George was preceded in death by his sister, Ursula Bowman and his wife Eva Gold in 2005. Survivors include his children, Sharon (Frank) Sauerland, Rich (Jenny) Gold; Significant Other, Gertrude Noga; Niece, Diane Tyson and his best friend, Stan Kates.
