Jackie was born in Middletown, Ohio on September 5, 1933, the daughter of Marie and Emmett (Jack) Cornwell. She married Donald Hanes, moved to Franklin, Ohio and pursued a teaching career of 25 years in the Franklin City School District as a first grade and kindergarten teacher. Upon retirement she moved to Ormond Beach, Florida where she resided until her passing.
Jackie is survived by three of her children, Kim Gray (Robert), Luke Hanes (Holley) and Jill Picciano (Carmine, deceased), four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to Jackie’s parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don and youngest son, Matthew. A private service will be held in Franklin, Ohio.
