Joseph Arcangelo Morea

Joseph Arcangelo Morea, 85 years old, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away in the early morning of August 29, 2024. Born on May 3, 1939 in Astoria, New York, Joe was a devoted father of six children and a hard-working employee of Con Edison in the City of New York for over 30 years.

He was an outdoor enthusiast, and liked to spend time camping, hunting, fishing, boating and shooting. He was also a wonderful tenor, who sang with his church choir and would, on occasion, grace his family and friends with a song or two.

Our beloved Father passed away peacefully in his sleep, after battling pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his earthly family until reuniting with his heavenly one. He is survived by six children: Doreen, Alison, Dawn, Terese’, Gary and Douglas; as well as 11 Grandchildren: Jason, Thomas, Sean, Danielle, Christopher, Samantha, Cassandra, Genevieve, Zachary, Serena and Ryan. He was also a Great-Grandfather to Riley, Abigail, Amelia and Shea. He was also survived by his faithful golden retriever, Gunner, who remained by his side until the end. Joe’s laugh, smile, charm and tough but gentle way will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Visitation will be held at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home Friday, September 6, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 10 am.
