Laura Ann Clayson, 77, of Palm Coast entered into rest January 14, 2024 with her family by her side. Laura was born in Brooklyn, New York to George and Jennie Durinick on July 30, 1946. She loved riding motorcycles with her loving husband, going on vacation with her children and grandson, and spending time with her family. Laura was a strong woman with a heart of gold.
Laura is preceded in death by her husband John “J.C.” Clayson, her father, George Durinick, Sr., her mother, Jennie Kowalski, her stepfather, Eugene Kowalski, and her brothers, Philip Kowalski and George Durinick, Jr.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Christine A. Mesta (Frank), her son, Edward M. Hoyler (Nora), her grandsons, Logan Mesta, Edward Hoyler, and Jared Hoyler. She is further survived by her sister, Linda Pandolfo (Sebastian), her brother, Robert Durinick (Lucy), her sister-in-law, Belinda Durinick, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Laura was a beautiful soul who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
