Laurel came to the United States 1969 resided in East Orange, New Jersey until she moved to Palm Coast in 1987. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Palm Coast.
She was born July 5, 1936 in Golden Grove, St Catherine, Jamaica. Daughter of Samuel Coombs and Ivy Young.
Her husband of over 50 years, Lester Davis died in December of 2012.
Laurel was a homemaker and worked as an assembler for many years. She enjoy planting especially in the rain, cooking and was known for her curry goat, curry chicken and sweet potato pie.
She loved God, Family and life. Her special moments was spent playing ludo and dominoes with her husband, daughters and grandchildren.
Laurel is survived by her daughters: Doreen, Joan, Jean and Yvonne: sons: Oliver and Denvor, daughters: Adelle, Beverly and Patricia, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
