Linda loved being a city girl who worked in banking, commuting everyday on the LIRR with her husband Al. She enjoyed going to restaurants and the theater. She later moved to New Jersey, still commuting to NYC, but loved going back to Long Island to babysit her grandsons. Eventually, she retired and built their dream home, a Lincoln Log cabin in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. She loved “her” mountains and playing cards with her friends at the senior center.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Tracy Luigi; son Todd Luigi; stepson, Al Beckemeyer, Jr; her “sis”, Alice Bowers; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Friday, May 31, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South in Flagler Beach, where a service will start at 4:00 PM.
The family wants to offer special thanks to Halifax Hospice Services and the entire staff at Grand Villa of Palm Coast for making Linda’s short time there really feel like home.
