He was born May 3, 1981 in Pontiac, Michigan, a son of Ronnie and Linda Ballard Langevin.
Matt moved to Palm Coast in 1983, and grew up in the area, where he played little league baseball. He worked in the construction industry as an equipment operator. Matt loved to fish, cook, raise chickens, boating, driving, and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his wife and children.
Matt leaves his wife of 11 years, the former Abby Lynn Miller, whom he married June 27, 2009. His father, Ronnie Langevin; his mother, Linda (Bill) Beam; three children, Matthew David Langevin, Jr., Evan Langevin, and Olivia Langevin; one sister, Nicole (Scott) Newton and his nephew, Jared Bokanoski.
