Michael Joseph LaVaglio

Michael J LaVaglio 94, died peacefully on 2/9/2026 at hospice, surrounded by family and friends. Born in NY on 4/8/1931, he grew up in Astoria Queens before moving moving to landing Nj and then leading to Palm Coast Fl were he resided for close to 40 years. Mike was a truck driver for teamster union until his retirement. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, who loved he family dearly

Dad was a man who found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether he was spending a sunny afternoon perfecting his swing on the golf course or relaxing at home. He cherished his loyal dog (Sammy) who was a constant and beloved companion by his side. While he had many passions, nothing compared to the deep devotion he held for his family, who remained the true center of his world. Though he has passed, the warmth of his love and the lessons he shared will stay with us forever.

Mike was preceded in death by his wives Veronica(Ronnie) Maiorano and Vicky, and daughter Veronica(Ronnie) He leaves behind a son Michael LaVaglio and wife Julie, son Jamie LaVaglio and wife Nancy, daughter Lisa Fox and her husband Kristopher. He also leaves 6 grandchildren, Micayala, Angelina, Steven, Michael, Victoria, Rachel, Sean and Christopher.

Services will be held at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, date and time pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to, The National Children's Cancer Society what he felt strongly about.
