

Mikhail is survived by his daughters Tatyana Jean- Gilles and Irina Voskoboynik of Palm Coast, Florida; His six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Zoya Skorokhod, his parents and two siblings.
Mikhail was born on March 4, 1936 in Rimaravka, Ukraine. His life started in a very difficult time at the rise of WWII. Part of his childhood years were spent in a cellar hiding from the shelling of his surrounding areas. Once the War ended he flourished in his studies and graduated from Technical School in 1954 with a degree in Amtrack Train Engineering. After graduating he was drafted into the Army where he retired at the rank of Sergeant.
Mikhail married Zoya in 1959. They met through Zoya’s cousin while Mikhail was in the Army. It was love at first sight. They welcomed Irina Voskoboynik in 1960 and Tatyana Jean-Gilles in 1966. He was a good father and an exceptional grandfather. His grandchildren and great grandchildren adored him. He loved to be around family, spending time and making memories up until the day he passed.
A graveside burial ceremony for Mikhail Skorokhod is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Craig Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. Condolences can be sent to 5 Pinelark Lane Palm Coast, Fl 32164.
