

Pierce Richard Jackson 26, of Tampa, Florida (formerly of Flagler Beach) passed away in a tragic car accident on February 6, 2018. He was born on June 19, 1991 in Sebastian, Florida. Pierce graduated from Seabreeze High School in 2010. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida in 2015. He worked as an Account Manager for CenturyLink in Tampa and was the Chapter Advisor for the TKE fraternity at UCF. Pierce loved to fish and was a talented athlete who played most any physical sport, basketball, football, baseball, hockey and especially golf. He was also a fierce fan of Pittsburgh’s sports teams and was overjoyed at every Super Bowl and Stanley Cup championship. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and friends. He was a true and faithful friend who treated everyone he met with kindness and compassion and was loved and admired by all who met him. He was the perfect son and brother who will be terribly missed. Pierce was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Miriam Barney in 2016; paternal grandmother, Eileen Jackson in 2016. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Suzie Jackson; sister, Kaity Jackson; maternal grandfather, Jerome (Jenny) Barney; paternal grandfather, Gary Jackson; aunts and uncles, Richard (Kristie) Barney, Nancy Barney-Williams, Patti ( Buddy) Baker, Mark (Kim) Jackson, Linda (Matt) Sevin and many loving cousins and good friends. In Lieu of flower’s donations in his memory may be made to The First Tee of Central Florida, www.thefirstteecfl.org to honor Pierce and the game he loved. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February, 17, 10:30-11:00AM at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 11:00AM. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. A gathering of friends and loved ones will take place at Halifax Plantation Golf Club at 12:30PM.
