

Rachel was born in Newport VT., the daughter of Donald W. Kilborn, Sr., and Elsie Mae (Calkins) Kilborn.
Upon graduating from high school form Derby Academy in 1953 she attended Burdett College in Boston, MA. Rachel married John L. Bradley on June 15, 1957 and were married almost 64 years. She was preceded in death by her spouse, John L. Bradley, a daughter, Kimberly Ann, a son, Andrew Bradley, her parents, and sister and a brother. Surviving is her daughter Allison Bradley, grandchildren, Fernando Valdes, Jr., and his wife Alexis of Palm Bay, FL., John Valdes and his wife Lila of Miramar, FL., Katherine Valdes-Toraddo and her husband Manny of Davie, FL., Jonathan Bradley and his partner, Mandee Roberts of Newport, VT., Amanda Bradley and her spouse, Sarah of Winston-Salem NC., She is also survived by two brothers, Lawrence “Larry” Kilborn of Newport VT., and Richard “Dick” (Barb) Kilborn of Derby, VT.
Her great-grandchildren who all loved to call her white nana cause of her gray hair, Brianna, Kali, Dylan, Mason, Emma, Hayden, Camila & Emerson. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.
Rachel loved to knit and sew but her favorite was doing her crossword puzzles every morning with a cup of coffee. She loved visits from her grandchildren and most of all her great-grandchildren. Some who she loved to do her hair and make-up.
Rachel worked in Civil Service until her retirement. She was the Base Commanders Secretary at Plattsburgh Air Force Base and Homestead Air Force Base. She touched the hearts and souls of so many and will be dearly missed.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Burial services for Rachel and her spouse, John will be at some time next summer in Derby, VT., and will rest next to their daughter and son.
