Mr. McCue was born April 15, 1954 in Springfield, Illinois, a son of Philip and Eileen McCue.
He grew up in Miami, and attended Miami Killian Senior High School. Mr. McCue enlisted in the Army, where he received the National Defense Service Medal. Ray was honorably discharged November 16, 1973. He was a master electrician, and was also an elevator mechanic, retiring in 2017. Ray enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Kim Hayes, whom he married June 1, 1982. Two sons, Philip of Rhode Island, and Raymond of Hawaii. Three siblings, Eileen, Shea, and Claire. Four grandchildren, Adyali, Meladi, Ray J, and Jameson.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and veteran.
He will be truly missed by all.
