Raymond Daniel Schultz, 31 of Post Falls, Idaho passed away tragically on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. He was born on August 6, 1985 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was a graduate of Post Falls Visions High School and attended North Idaho College Ray was a wonderful young man. He was our ‘baby boy ‘and the joy in our life. Ray was very close to his mother and father and followed them to Florida to help them with their move to their new home. He fell in love with the Florida sunshine and decided to stay and give it a try. Ray had many friends and was liked by everyone. He loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed camping, gaming, playing with our dog and especially his passion of mixed martial arts. He has been an instructor for 12 years. He was currently teaching MMA, at Moo Do Academy in Palm Coast, FL. He was a talented and inspirational MMA instructor and coach and his students adored him. Ray was a volunteer at a very early age and served on many community events for charitable organizations in Idaho. Ray won the Mayor’s Award for outstanding community service as a student, was a local, state and national gaming award winner. Ray also loved to dance and was quite the tap and ballroom dancer. He was the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. Ray was kind, loving, gentle and caring. He had a tender heart and was a gentle soul. He touched the hearts of more people than he knew, and he will be missed forever. His laughter was contagious. Sadly he suffered from a deep depression that he kept hidden. Laughing on the outside and in pain on the inside. He is in pain no more as he now sits wrapped in the arms of our Lord Jesus. Ray is survived by his parents John and Tina-Marie Schultz; and two older sisters, Jennifer Keifer and Gwendolyn Olinski; as well as his maternal grandmother Elvira Diana; Great Uncle George Milo; aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
