Ryan Robert, aged 33, passed away on January 22, 2026, suddenly at his home in Palm Coast, FL. He leaves behind a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a quiet dedication to the things he loved the most. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
From an early age, Ryan showed a deep compassion for animals. Whether caring for family pets, stopping to help a stray, or simply finding peace in the presence of animals, he had a natural ability to connect with them. His gentle spirit was most visible when an animal was near-patient, attentive, and unconditionally kind.
Music was another constant companion throughout his life. Ryan found joy, comfort, and expression through music, which often served as both an escape and a bridge to others. Whether listening, playing, collecting, or sharing favorite albums or songs, music was a language through which he understood the world and made it a little softer for those around him.
A proud Eagle Scout, Ryan embodied values of scouting long after earning its highest rank. The lessons of service, leadership, responsibility, and integrity shaped the man he became. He believed in doing what was right, helping when he could, and leaving things better than he found them-principles he lived out quietly and consistently.
Those who knew Ryan will remember his thoughtful nature, his gentle humor, and his steady presence. He did not seek the spotlight, but his impact was deeply felt by family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In honor of Ryan’s love for animals and service to others, memorial contributions may be made to your local animal rescue organization, or to S.M.A.R.T of Flagler County, or Flagler County Humane Society or a youth scouting program.
Ryan was predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Rita Mazzei and his aunt Debra Mazzei. Ryan is survived by his loving parents Vincent and Aileen Mazzei (Palm Coast, FL), his grandparents Janet Asklund of Palm Coast, FL, Robert and Lucille Asklund of Homosassa, FL, his aunts and uncles, aunt Robin Mazzei of Port Jefferson, New York, aunt Rose and Michael Anasagasti of Southold, NY, Russell and Claire Asklund of St. Augustine, FL, Casey and Jamie Humphreys of Palm Coast, FL, his cousins Ria Bracken of Mattituck, NY, Gina Anasagasti of Binghamton, NY, Timmy Humphreys of Palm Coast, FL, Patrick Guice of St. Augustine, FL, Elizabeth Guice of St. Augustine, FL, Autumn Asklund of St. Augustine, FL, Ezra Bracken of Mattituck, NY, and Analise Bracken of Mattituck, NY.
