

Thomas "Tom" Mulligan, 79, of Flagler Beach, Florida, passed away on February 16, 2024, at the Advent Health Daytona Beach Hospital. He was born on November 19, 1944, in Bayonne, New Jersey, to the late Thomas and Florence Mulligan.
After graduating from Bayonne High School, he answered the call to duty and proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was a member of the esteemed 101st Airborne Division. Upon his honorable discharge, he embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship, founding his own business named T.J. Mulligan Truck Repairs.
In 1980, Tom relocated his family to Flagler Beach, Florida, where he continued his entrepreneurial endeavors in the boating and truck repair industries for the next two decades. His dedication and work ethic led him to serve as the Division Manager of Public Works for the City of Ormond Beach until his well-deserved retirement.
Tom's interests extended far beyond the confines of his professional life. He was an avid outdoorsman who found solace and joy in activities such as boating, fishing, and tinkering. Renowned as a "Master Tinker," Tom possessed an innate ability to fix anything that crossed his path, earning the admiration and respect of all who knew him. He cherished moments spent at his farmhouse in Madison County, where he found tranquility amidst nature's beauty.
Above all, Tom was a devoted family man who cherished the company of his loved ones. He shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jackie, and together they nurtured a legacy of love and strength. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie and her husband Rim. Tom is survived by his son, Scott, and daughter-in-law, Ketrin Mulligan, as well as his grandsons, Jaxon and Mason Mulligan. He is also survived by his sister, Florence Markowski, and her husband Edward and their son Edward; niece & nephew Michael and Marie and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Tom Mulligan's indomitable spirit, unwavering determination, and boundless love will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will continue to inspire and uplift generations to come.
