Victor “Vic” Mayo, 75, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on March 22, 2021 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. He was born on July 26, 1945 in Manhattan, New York to the late Eulogio Nadal and Luz Virginia Mayo (Guzman). Victor served in the United States Army and The National Guard for many years. After his military service he went to work for the NYPD where he retired as a Sergeant. In 2005 he and his wife moved to the Palm Coast area. Victor then went on to work as a Federal Police Officer in Florida but had to again retire due to his declining health. His memberships included the Hispanic American Social Club of Palm Coast where he was a member for 15 years, Knights of Columbus where he served as a 4th Degree Knight and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Victor enjoyed tempting lady luck by going to the casino, playing poker and scratch off tickets but his greatest love was spending time with his beloved family. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Delia Mendez Mayo; children, Melanie and her husband Radames Robles, Christopher Mayo, Victoria Mayo; 4 granddaughters; 7 siblings and many more loving nieces, nephews, relatives and wonderful friends.
