Vito Mattioli

Born on March 9, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York, Vito was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend whose presence brought light and love to everyone around him. After graduating high school, he joined his father and brother in the family construction business, GVS, where he not only helped build lasting structures but also strengthened the family bonds that mattered most to him.

On October 19, 1996, Vito married the love of his life, Maria Bologna. Together, they created a beautiful life centered on love, laughter, and family. In 2005, they moved to Palm Coast, Florida, where they raised their children, Briana and Gaetano, in a home filled with warmth, tradition, and joy.

Even when illness forced him to step away from work, Vito’s spirit remained unshakable. He embraced life’s simple pleasures—sipping espresso, enjoying his family’s homemade Mattioli wine, sharing laughter, and fixing anything in sight, a gift that earned him the nickname “Mr. Fix-It.” His love and dedication to his family knew no limits; whether coaching his daughter’s cheerleading team without prior experience or being there to teach his son how to be a responsible man of the community and carry on his legacy of being “Mr. Fix It”.

Vito was also a proud member of the Society of the Citizens of Pozzallo, cherishing his Italian heritage and the community it provided.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his family takes comfort in the peace he has found and the thought that he is reunited with his beloved dogs, Luna and Armani.

Vito is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Maria; their children, Briana and Gaetano; his parents, Gaetano and Maria Mattioli. He was a loving brother and loving friend who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

A viewing for Vito will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
