GILBERT, GERTRUDE I. passed away Tuesday, November 6 2012 at her residence. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at All Saints Catholic Church, G-4063 W. Pierson Rd., Flint, Mi. Fr. Anthony Majchrowski officiating. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mt. Morris, MI. Gertrude was born in Flint, MI. to parents Sidney and Ellen (Paquette) Goodall. She married John Gilbert , November 5, 1949 who preceded her in death in 1997. Gertrude is survived by her children David Gilbert, Marie (Mark) Svoboda, and Phillip Gilbert; grandchildren John (Heather) Svoboda, Rob (Laurie) Svoboda, Nick Svoboda; great-grandchildren Jack, Andrew, triplets Benjamin, Emily and Claire and a sixth great-grandchild due in December; sister Alice (Stanley) Krupa; sister Correne Butts; sister-in-law Betty (Samuel) Rudnick; many nieces and nephews, including special niece Bronwyn Cobb. She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters Mary Gorton, Dorothy Gratsch and Berniece Hovezak; brothers Frances Goodall and Joseph Goodall. In Lieu of flowers, the family request that gifts in her memory be made to the North End Soup Kitchen or Carriage Town Ministries. Arrangements by the Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W.
