

Harry C. Robinson – Age 90, died Friday, April 10, 2015 at his home. Mr. Robinson was born November 15, 1924 in Detroit, the son of the late George and Lenna Robinson. Harry was a life- long Detroit Tigers fan and also supported the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Lions. He loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition, he enjoyed traveling, having traveled throughout the U.S. and in over 50 other countries. He served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army. Harry received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business. He was an Engineer with General Motors for 38 years and then taught Physics at GMI. On September 18, 1954 Harry married Patricia Mahon, who survives him. Also surviving are children Maureen (Gilles) Couette, Cynthia (Mike) Topolewski, Thomas (Cindy) Robinson; grandchildren Jon Topolewski, Antoine (Alice) Couette, Janna (Michael) Navarro, Christopher Robinson; great-grandchildren Marie Couette, Zachary Navarro; sister, Elinor Macaulay; several nieces and nephews. Harry was preceded in death by his grandson, Alex Robinson, and his brother and sister. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Reigle Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alex Robinson Foundation, 8604 Haystack Rd., Caledonia, MI 49316.
