Lawrence O. Curey

CUREY, Lawrence O. - age 88 passed away on December 19, 2016 in Flushing, MI. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 12 PM at Reigle Funeral Home - 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI 48433 with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 2 PM- 4 PM and 6 PM - 8 PM at Reigle Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Flint Memorial Park. Lawrence was born on May 28, 1928 in Flint, MI to the late Mr. Robert and Lulu (Wilson) Curey. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. For over 60 years, he was a member of the Shriners Scottish Rite of Bay City as well as the Masonic Temple of Mt. Morris. Lawrence married Jane E. Curey in 1950 in Flint, MI. He worked for many years for General Motors in Labor Relations. Lawrence also enjoyed golfing and bowling. Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Kathleen and husband Joseph Zsigo and sister, Betty York. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lulu Curey; wife, Jane E.
