Paul Robert Jankowski

JANKOWSKI, Paul Robert – Age 61, of Flushing, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at his home. Paul was born January 14, 1950 in Flint the son of Joseph and Helen (Witte) Jankowski. Paul enjoyed tinkering with just about everything including his woodworking, cars, snowmobiles and boats. He loved reading, keeping up on current events, water sports, winter sports and travel vacations. He graduated from U of M Flint and loved U of M sports. Paul worked 38 ½ years at Truck and Bus lastly in Inspection. On May 22, 1976 Paul married Laurie Nicholas and she survives him. Also surviving are their children, Kyle J. Jankowski of Lyons, Illinois, Lauren E. Jankowski of Flushing; brothers and sister, Joel R. Jankowski of Tampa, Gail M. Hackett of Swartz Creek, Richard L. (Nancy L.) Jankowski of Flint, and their daughter Carrie E. (Matthew) Fiocchi; many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Reigle Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Father Tom Firestone will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. The family would like to thank Shannon, Mike and Cathy of Avalon Hospice for their care and support. Memorial contributions may be made to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
