Rick and I began our friendship at Riverdale Elementary School where he continually led me astray. At AHS he continued his mischief, performed as our drummer and was a founding member of the Gnu Racing Team until he ran his Corvair into a parked train. He made us laugh until we cried ... many times !! Seriously, Rick was a true friend and will always bring a smile to all who knew him.

I have known Rick since high school, and there will never be another like him. He was quick with a joke, sometimes at other's expense. My first husband, Gary Downing, and I used to spend a lot of time with Rick and his first wife, Anne, when our kids were young. Those were fun times....Rick always made us laugh. I'm sorry I never got to know Diane or see Tracy, Jo Dee and Rick later in life. I will always remember him.

I do not believe that I ever had the good fortune to meet your husband, Richard. Being a husband myself, I can attest to the fact that none of us in that role are perfect and that we do not always bring happiness to our wives. I do , however, hope that Richard and you shared more joyous times than not. Also, Diane, as time passes may your memories of the happy times of your lives together outweigh all others.
