Rosemary Margaret Bissonnette Olsey

OLSEY, Rosemary Margaret – Age 57, of Flushing, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Rosemary was born February 4, 1953 in Flint the daughter of Jerome and Lucille (Lahar) Bissonnette. Mrs. Olsey loved her family, especially her husband, grandchildren and daughters. She loved dancing, trips up north, and camping. Rosemary owned her own painting and wallpaper business after her girls finished school. She is survived by, Husband, Russell Olsey, whom she married September 25, 1971; Daughters, Jennifer (Michael) Ashton and Kimberly (Mike) Wykes; Grandchildren, Andrew and Alexa Ashton, Aubrey Wykes and another on the way, and Caitlin Reive; Siblings, Ruth (Bob) Marshall and Jerome (Gloria), Theresa, James (Becky), John, Paul and Michael (Tracey) Bissonnette; Brother-In-Laws, Ronald (MaryAnn) Olsey and Raymond (Debbie) Olsey; Sister-In-Law, Randi (Rick) Maguire. Preceded in death by parents and sisters, Linda and Paula. Friends may visit the family Saturday 6-8 PM and Sunday 12-8 PM at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing. A Vigil Service will be held Sunday evening at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10 AM at Sts. Charles and Helena Catholic Church, 230 E. Vienna St., in Clio. Fr. Steven Makranyi officiating. Burial to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to U of M Cancer Center or Avalon Hospice.
