Adonis was a cherished husband, loving father, and adoring pappou, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Adonis was in born Cyprus, where he grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and the beauty of his homeland. He joined hands in matrimony with the love of his life, Chryso, embarking on a journey of devotion and companionship that spanned a lifetime. Their love was an inspiration to all who knew them, a testament to the enduring power of love and commitment.
As a father, Adonis was a pillar of strength and support for his children, Chris (Misuk) and Alex (Tina). He instilled in them the values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance, guiding them with wisdom and compassion as they navigated life's journey. His love knew no bounds, and his family was his greatest source of pride and joy.
Adonis's role as pappou brought him immeasurable happiness, as he welcomed his grandchildren, Adonis, Joseph, Kristina, and Gabriella, into the world with open arms and boundless affection. He cherished every moment spent with them, delighting in their laughter, celebrating their accomplishments, and showering them with love and wisdom.
In addition to his devotion to his family, Adonis had a zest for life that was infectious to all who knew him. The family of Adonis will be receiving visitors on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, New York 11358. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas G.O. Church, 196-10 Northern Blvd., Flushing, New York 11358. The interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York 11735.
