Anna Castoro

Anna Castoro, age 95, of Flushing, New York, passed away peacefully on May 11. Born on February 16, 1930, in Corona, Anna lived a life rich in love and family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Anna cherished her family above all. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Thiele (Bill) and Joanne Malandro (Tony), and her son, Dominick (Joanna). Anna was also a proud grandmother to Lisa (Mike), Robert, Dominick (Madison), Joseph (Lindsey), Jonathan (Allison), Johnny, Olivia, and Lindsey, as well as a great-grandmother to Jackie, Ella, Joey, and Lucy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Dominick Robert Castoro. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family R.C. Church in Flushing, NY, on May 14 at 10:00 AM. Anna will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends.
