Anna Pacheco

On January 22, 2026, the world lost a vibrant creative light. Anna Edith Pacheco, born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, was a woman who defined her own path, crafting a life as colorful and intricate as the art she produced.

A master of her craft, Anna was a self-taught painter and enamel artist. Early in her career, her meticulous talent was recognized at the highest level when she designed exquisite enameled eggs showcased in Tiffany’s iconic Easter displays. She was a fiercely independent spirit who proved that a woman’s legacy is measured by the passion she pursues and the lives she touches. She taught us invaluable lessons of love, perseverance, and determination, leaving an indelible imprint on everyone she met.

To her family, she was more than an artist; she was the heartbeat of their circle. A beloved mother, sister, and aunt, she held a special place in the lives of her three honorary "son-nephews," whom she loved as her own. Anna possessed a rare, magnetic spirit that we all gravitated toward, and she returned that love with a heart that knew no bounds.

Her journey was embodied by resilience; over the years, she repeatedly overcame significant health obstacles with a grace that defied the odds, serving as a living testament that miracles do happen.

She leaves behind a son (Derek), two sisters (Aixa and Ilka), three nephews (Joseph, Eduardo, and Jonathan), four great-nephews (Hunter, James, Remy, and Kaden), and a daughter in-law (Pamela), who will forever miss her guidance and wit.

Her spirit will continue to live on through all who knew her and through the artwork she created. Though she has laid down her brushes, her vision remains forever enshrined in our hearts—a reminder that beauty, once created, never truly fades.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Kevin R.C. Church, located at 45-21 194th Street, Flushing, New York, 11358. The funeral mass is scheduled for January 30, 2026, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Anna.
