Annabella Lucchesi

Annabella Lucchesi, the beloved wife of Richard Lucchesi of 66 years, loving mother of Carol, Nancy, and Richard, and sister to Marietta and the late Anthony. She was also the proud Nanny to her 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Cathryn, Richard, Michael, Joseph, Christopher and Mia. She was devoted to her family, passing on family traditions, and never missing a birthday, school event, dance recital, or graduation. No matter where, when or why she was always there. To her family, she was more than a wife, mom and Nanny—she was a true friend, someone you can call all hours of the day; she was the glue, heart, and soul. She loved to cook and bring people together. One thing that no one can duplicate are her legendary meatballs, her secret touch will remain a treasured mystery. Annabella will always be remembered for her warmth, gentleness and kindness. Her love and presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will live on in their memories forever.

A visitation for Annabella will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 215-35 38th Ave, New York, NY 11361. A graveside service will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, New York, NY 11365.
