Dora, you have earned a well deserved rest because you were always there for those that needed you. We will miss you dearly and remain always in our hearts.

I have many fond memories of the visits with your Mom and Dad over many years at your home and ours.  My Mom and Dad always had a special place in their hearts for Dora and Pete - Mom and her were friends since their school days in New York City.  My fondest memory (of course related to food!) were Dora's veal cutlets.  Your Mom always seemed to have them ready when we came to visit as she knew I loved them so much.  No one - and I do mean no one - made veal cutlets like your Mom did!  I am so sorry for you loss.  In the difficult times ahead keep her fondly in your memories and remember the many good times you had with her over the years - no one can take those from you.  Please accept my deepest sympathies, especially for your Dad who has lost his life-long companion and friend.  Something I can share since losing my own parents - whenever you feel sad try to remember the good times and look up - somehow they have a way of giving you a sign that they love you, miss you and are in a better place free of pain and suffering.  Thinking of all of you as you try to weather your way through this most difficult time.

I remember Mrs. C keeping everything in order while everyone was running around doing their things. Mrs Calabrese was like a second mom to me. Not having a dad, she really did a fantastic job accepting me into The Calabrese Household. I remember getting kicked out of the house on a weekly basis growing up and it was Mrs Calabrese to the rescue allowing me back in. I enjoyed stopping by every now and then and having coffee and cake and just talking   I love you Mrs C. God Bless Rest iIn Peace

I’m happy that I was able to spend a lot of quality time with you this past year.  I’ll miss watching your favorite shows over and over again with you.  Mr. Rogers, your therapy dog, will miss taking long naps with you.  It’s comforting to know that you will be reunited with your family and friends.  You might even run into Floppy.  Until we meet again!

To my cannoli & carvel loving grandma I can’t believe that you are gone. I’m still trying to process the idea of walking into your house and not hearing the same episode of Everybody loves Raymond for the 100th time. I had the honor to call you my grandmother for the past 26 years.  You have been there for me through all the good and bad in my life. You and grandpa taught me the true definition of love after being married for 63 years. I hope you got the biggest welcome when you arrived in heaven. I love you my angel until we meet again.

    With sadness I awoke this morning to read about your Mom's passing.
    Although I was not a close family friend, I remember your Mom from the times at your Fundraisers.  I remember the sweet warm and loving bond I observed between mother and daughter.  I am aware that she was not well in recent days and I do sincerely believe that God has taken her to a much better place.  
        May she rest in peace forever in God's arms and may the memory of her erase your sorrow.
