Dr. Becil was born in Havana, Cuba to Miguel and Laila. He married Maria on April 29, 1960. He is a graduate of University of Havana medical school and practiced internal medicine in Havana and Jackson Heights, NY until 2012.
Dr. Becil leaves behind his beloved wife, Maria, three children, Hector (Allison), Ana Giglio (Graziano) and Carlos, and six grandchildren, Andrew, Gregory, Daniel, Christopher, Alex and Matthew.
The family will be receiving visitors at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY, 11358, on Sunday July 13, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday July 14th, at American Martyrs' Roman Catholic Church, 79-43 Bell Blvd, Oakland Gardens, NY, 11364, at 9:45 am
A graveside service will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Rd, Kew Gardens, New York.
