Madeline Nugent passed away on November 2, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Dearest mother of Nancy, John, Joseph, Gerard and Madeline. Dear sister of Dorothy Covenah and Gerard Fassig and the late Helen Meagher and Thomas Fassig. Cherished grandmother (“Big Momma”) to Shane, Samantha, Megan, Nora, Jack, Molly, Maggie and Charlotte. Devoted aunt to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was devoted to her family and church and was a long time member of Mary's Nativity in Flushing, NY. She worked for Newsweek and Esty Advertising for many years. She loved chocolate, reading the newspaper, Diet Pespi, and above all, a good laugh. She was the funniest person you could ever meet. Mom was kind, generous and fun. We will miss her dearly.
