Maria passed away peacefully on January 17, 2022. She was born on March 3rd, 1932, in Krsan, Croatia. She was the devoted wife of the late Decio Sergovich for 62 years, and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Wilma Stanisic, husband Ivo; their daughter Stephanie Tencic, husband Allen; son Adam; and great grandchildren Luka and Mia. Her son Aldo, wife Lili; their daughter Eva Duncombe, husband Matt; and great granddaughter Cecilia; daughter Julie Scala, husband Charlie; and great grandson Harrison. Her son Vlado, wife Dorothea; son Max and daughter Gianna. Maria was also survived by her sisters Nela and Graciela.
Maria’s greatest passion was her family and friends. Her laughter was contagious and she always had a smile for everyone. She was full of life and happiness and loved entertaining everyone with her delicious fuzi and gnocchi.
