Philip Eng

Philip (Phil) Eng age 48 years old passed away on June 2, 2016 in his home in Sunnyside, New York in the presence of his loving wife and two sisters. Phil was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer, in April, 2015. He fought for his life for a little over a year receiving numerous treatments and participating in several clinical (research) trials.

Phil was born in Elmhurst, Queens on July 11, 1967. He grew up in Flushing, Queens and resided in Queens his entire life.

Phil worked as an IT Project Manager for NBC Universal for the past few years and is greatly respected among his peers. While Phil worked with computers for many years, his true passion was the outdoors, motorcycles, food, and family. Phil was a loyal friend, respectful son, and loving husband and father. He will be greatly missed.

Phil is survived by his wife, Mary Eng and 2 year old daughter Claire Eng as well as his 2 sisters and father. He is preceded in death by his mother.
