

Rosemarie Antoinette Totaro, born January 3, 1936, in the Bronx, New York died peacefully on August 6, 2014. She was a resident of Bayside, New York for 50 years who always called New York home. Rosemarie retired as a Secretary from the Department of the Army at Fort Totten where she was loved and admired by all her Soldiers. However her greatest job was being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt to so many who loved her and knew how selfless she truly was. Rosemarie was active in the Boys Scouts of America Pack and Troop 142 where both her sons were Eagle Scouts and where she continued on as a member of the Mothers Club for a total of 20 years. She was also a long-time Parishioner of St Robert Bellarmine Church and member of the Italian-American Club and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Rosemarie is survived by her husband Joseph Totaro. She is also survived by her son Anthony Totaro and Anthony's wife Diane Zorn Totaro, and her son John Totaro, as well as her four beloved grandchildren: Andrea, Joey, Lynn Marie and Andrew. Rosemarie's nephews and nieces: Andrew, Andrea, Christina, Annette, Joanne, Catherine, Anthony, Claudia, Maria and Susan were also the light of her life.
