He is survived by his brother, Joseph Yonkers, and his sister-in-law, Robin Yonkers, as well as his sister, Jennifer Yonkers. William was a devoted uncle to Arraya and Layla. He was a beloved by his godmother, Linda Mollura and his godfather Anthony Mollura. He was also a dear nephew and cousin to many.
William had a passion for cooking, a skill he honed by watching his grandmother. His talent in the culinary arts was recognized with an award, a testament to his dedication and love for the craft.
Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY, on Tuesday August 5, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Catholic Church, 150-75 Goethals Ave, Jamaica , NY, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 10:00 am. The entombment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Ave, New York, NY.
William's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
