I remember Ben fondly from when I worked at the IPRO Lake Success office from 2005-2011 - a lovely gentle person, always with a smile and easy-going personality. There is a candle lighting here in Ireland in his memory. Condolences to his family and friends. Deepest sympathy, Martina

My deepest condolences to Ben's family. I've missed him here at IPRO- always with a soft spoken word, and a smile. He really was someone who brought a gentle quietness into the world. He was such a peaceful, kind man, he left us too soon. He will not be forgotten.

I had the pleasure of working with Ben for over 17 years. Ben was always a voice of reason and wisdom. If ever I seemed down or unhappy, Ben would remind me that no one cares (in a very humorous way). Ben knew how to cheer people up during those hard times.
When Ben found out that I am a Seventh Day Adventist, he shared with me his years in the Church and how to keep the faith through some of the most trying times.
I will miss my good friend dearly.
I pray God will continue to wrap his warm and loving arms around his family.

I worked with Ben at IPRO for many years. I cannot remember a time when he was not smiling. Every morning I would pass his desk and he would smile and say Good Morning! Just this simple gesture put a smile on my face too and started off my day on a happy note. He loved to talk about his family and his grandchildren - by the time I had my first grandchild in 2017 he was already way ahead of me ...and it was fun to discover that we both had grandsons named Sebastian born in the same year!
Ben you were a kind and gentle man - there should be more men like you in his world. I always be so thankful our paths crossed. Rest in Peace and know you will be so missed.
Sincerely, Eileen Plotkin

Ben was the first person I'd see when I arrived at work each morning, and always welcomed me with a warm smile. He made each day that much sweeter.

I will remember Ben well, such a nice sweet man.

Everyday 1st thing in the AM I would see him in the kitchen area at work and we would chat over a cup of coffee. He would talk highly and sweetly of his family, kids, and grand kids.

My thoughts and prayers for all his family and friends

May he rest in peace and love

Dear Riofrio Family - My deepest condolences to all of you. I have known Ben thru my employer for probably 20+ years. Ben was a joy to work with. I especially appreciated his attention and love for his family - it was expressed often and in so many ways. He was very brave thru his illness and will be very much missed.

I pray your faith will be of great comfort in the days to follow.
The Bible at Isaiah 41:10 promises "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness."

We served the Queens and Spanish congregations for many years together, he was always kind and compassionate to all he met. I am pleased to call him my friend and I know that spirit we called Ben lives on forever.

As I remember Ben, What struck me thé most about him was his
Loyalty . He served The church
Of God for many years as a Deacan . Very kind and loving.
Gave 100% to the Spanish
Church. I worked under him
As an usher . They don't get better Then Ben. I thank God

I worked with Benjamin at IPRO. I always enjoyed working with him and more particularly practicing my Spanish with Benjamin. He was a kind man and a gentleman and I will miss him. My love to the family. I am so sorry this happened as he was a treasure to all who knew him.
