Wow, I am shocked to have just  found out that my dear friend Eli Hertz crossed the rainbow at suvh a young age. My deep condolences to Marilyn and his children. May his memory be a blessing.

I have great admiration for the late  Eli Hertz as a hands-on defender of Israel, making her case at every opportunity, and understanding these  direct ties to anti-Semitism,  while most other "supporters" of Israel stand idly by. 
In our memorable conversations about how to best to defend Israel,  Eli was open to hearing and really listening to other opinions which has become rare in today's world, but is so necessary in defeating anti-Semitism. 
Eli was a fine human being and is sorely missed.

Eli was a brilliant thinker.  writer and  comrade in arms in the battle for the minds of Americans on behalf of  our precious Jewish State. His wonderful legacy of  Myths and Facts provided  Israel supporters with the all importan basic tools they needed to make Israel's case, 
May his memory be a blessing. 

Just saw this sad  news a few minutes ago, This is David Bedein, who worked with Eli for the past 20 years. How may I speak to a  close famlily member ASAP? My US tel. that answers on my cell here in Israel. 215 240 4919

Never met Eli, but he greatly influenced my life.  I read Myths and Facts one summer as a 19 year old, and it changed my life somewhat.  Made me a principled, committed, unapologetic Zionist.  His book is the Bible for serious readers who want  the real dope.  Thank you for leading by example.

PS As a law student later at Harvard Law School, I often referred to Myths and Facts during debates on Israel.  Wish the facts actually mattered more.  

I will remeber our great tennis matches at the westside for over 10 years. I will miss his great smile and love of the game may he rest in peace
