KOPLOW--Ellen Barbara (Goodstein), 63 years old, passed from this world on Wednesday afternoon, September 4, 2013 as a result of a brain tumor. A woman whose acts of kindness were experienced in her own community and in many others will be missed terribly by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Meyer, sons and daughters, Michael and Tovah Koplow of Potomac, Maryland, Jonathan and Jennifer Koplow of Skokie, Illinois, Aliza Koplow and fiance, Josh Goldberg of New Rochelle, and grandchildren, Joshua, Kira, Allyson, Zachary and Mikayla and her sisters, Sandra Goodstein Rosenblatt, Ricki Goodstein, and her brother, Fred Goodstein all of Philadelphia. Services will be held Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 11am at Young Israel of New Rochelle, 1149 North Avenue, New Rochelle with interment at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY. Shiva will be observed at her residence, 56 Lord Kitchener Road, New Rochelle, NY following the interment each day until 10pm through Thursday and Friday until 4.
