Aunt Felice was a special woman. She was kind and soft spoken but she was also strong and determined. She cared deeply for everyone she knew and loved and was concerned in general for anyone she met.

She had a love of family; her dear husband, her dear children, and her precious grandchildren and great-grandchild. She also loved our mom like a sister and loved our family very much too. We certainly felt her love and warmth in person and long distance. 

Aunt Felice also loved and cherished her family in Israel and was excited to have been able to visit them there and to have them visit her in Queens. She was thrilled to remain in contact with them. She and Uncle Morty (Sol) were always so grateful to have family with them and enjoyed seeing the family grow. In the winter, we had wonderful Chanukah parties at her home with an abundance of food and warmth. In the summer, we had many fun family backyard barbecues- rain or shine. 

When our mother was alive the two of them spoke weekly as sisters might do. When our mom passed, we decided to continue their "tradition" of weekly phone calls to remain connected. Now, there will surely be a void in our weekly activities. Those conversations will be sadly missed. She would tell us about her activities such as doing puzzles, reading books, playing Rummikub, and her treasured visits with her family and friends. In addition, she would relate how she enjoyed watching the nature shows and of course, all the antics and special love for her bird Ginger. 

Although she was petite, she had a strong desire to battle her illnesses to the best of her ability. She did this courageously. She will always be remembered fondly and with lots of love.

Our aunt was a wonderfully kind person, her gentle demeanor belied her deep inner strength.  She loved to love and be loved, and she certainly was by her family, friends, and all who knew her.  We are all the better for having had her in our lives.  We are so fortunate to have so many treasured memories of times shared.  We are comforted to feel she is with our dear uncle.  We will think of her warmly when we see the trees bloom and we hear the birds sing.  We will continue our talks every Saturday and she will live on in our hearts forever.  We love you. My grandmother Felice was a kind and beautiful person. She was an amazing grandmother to me during my childhood, taking my siblings and I to the zoo, aquarium, museum, park, and more. She was patient and loving. In my adulthood, she was always so genuinely excited about everything I did, and I always loved talking with her and visiting. She will be missed so dearly and touched so many lives.
