Mark J. Lowenthal died on August 31, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born on January 24, 1935, in New Brunswick, NJ to the late William and Lillian (Plane) Lowenthal. Beloved husband of Ilene (Somkin) Lowenthal. Loving father of Neil (Elena) Lowenthal, Linda (the late Robert) Tolstoi, and Roger Lowenthal. Loving grandfather of Michael, Lara and Brooke Tolstoi, and Laurel and Noah Lowenthal. He was a gentleman, a selfless, unassuming man whose greatest joy was spending time with his family.
A synagogue service will be held at Congregation Kneses Tifereth Israel (KTI), located at 575 King St, Port Chester, NY 10573, on September 2, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A committal service will follow at Sharon Gardens, located at 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595, on September 2, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
