

Raymond Gordin, age 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Delray Medical Center, Delray, Florida. He was born December 14, 1929 in the Bronx, New York to Edith and Harry Gordin. He grew up in Brooklyn NY and is a 1947 graduate of Lincoln High School. He married his high school sweetheart Claire (Goldstein) Gordin March 19, 1950. Ray joined the United States Air Force and served two years in California. Ray and Claire lived in Old Bethpage, NY for 32 years and raised two children.
Raymond had a successful 40 year career in the printing industry before fulfilling his dream of retiring to Florida to live on a golf course. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many rounds with family and friends. He had a deep interest in the lives of his
family, a passion for reading and watching his favorite news and sports programs on TV. Raymond was a true gentleman and always made people feel welcome.
He is survived by his wife Claire, daughter Bonnie (Guy) Berliner and son Michael (Paula) Gordin. He has five grandchildren, Samantha (Peter) Schwartz, Paul (Julie) Berliner, James Gordin, Alison Gordin and Elizabeth Gordin and four great-grandchildren, Marley, Jazz, Ezra and Arlo. Also, his sister Sandra (Joseph) Stanin and his nieces Rachel, Norma and Myra and nephew Reed.
Raymond will be laid to rest along side both his parents and brother Teddy at New Montefiore Cemetery, West Babylon NY on Sunday January 24, 2021.
