I am very sorry about Ruth's passing.  I had so many pleasant conversations with Ruth over the years about family and our time at Halsey.  I always admired her independence and spirit.

Ruthie was one of the first people to welcome me at Halsey. She was amazing and an honor to have known her. A great memory ill never forget was when 2 students were pulled from the auditorium for misbehaving and were sitting in the lobby waiting for the Principal. Ruthie walked by and dropped something but didnt realize it. One of the kid said “excuse me miss you dropped something” and Ruthie snapped back “and you cant pick it up for me? No wonder you’re sitting there.” The look on the kids face was shock and I was cracking up.  She was one of a kind and will be missed. God speed Ruthie.

Speaking for our beloved mother Linda, Ruth brought so much joy into her life. They took long walks and enjoyed their time together. She was a caring and supportive friend to our mom. Our families grew up together and sympathies go out to her two daughters.
