Isom Wilkins Jr

Mr. Isom “Ike” Wilkins, Jr. 76 of Newnan GA passed away on April 11, 2012. He had been a resident of Forest Park GA for more than 35 years before moving to Newnan. He was retired from Eastern Airlines with more than 30 years of service. He also retired from AAFES. He was of the Baptist faith. He also was a 40+ year member of the Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Yaarab Shrine Temple in Atlanta. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons; Robert C. Wilkins and wife Petra; and Richard T. Wilkins and wife Ginger; five granddaughters, Cassie, Amber, Liesa, Ariel, and Victoria; one great-grandson Evan and one sister Algene of DeKalb County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Forest Park GA.
