Ronald Lewis Timbs Sr.

Ronald Lewis Timbs, Sr., age 69 of Conley, passed away Thursday, September 02, 2010. Ronnie was a hard working family man who loved to joke and tease. He was stubborn as a mule and his favorite pastimes were food and television. Mr. Timbs is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Dorothy; sons, Benny Timbs and his fiancé, Angela of Stockbridge, Ronald Lewis Timbs, Jr. and his wife, April of McDonough; grandson, Cody Lane Timbs; sisters, Ruth White, Sarah Van Horn, Mary Conley and numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Ward’s Parkway Chapel with Rev. Jeffery Shelton officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. Family will receive friends Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Timbs was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.
