Albert "Capone" Morrison Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Albert Morrison Jr. announces his passing on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the LaVerendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ontario.

He was born on July 11, 1975 in Fort Frances, Ontario to Albert and June Morrison. He lived in Lac La Croix First Nation most of his life before moving to Fort Frances in 2011. Albert worked as a carpenter and enjoyed spending time fishing. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 29. He loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews and often referred to them as his own. He was their favourite uncle without a doubt.

Albert was predeceased by his parents Albert Sr and June and sister Shannon

He leaves behind his siblings Dennis (Roseanne) Morrison and their children Dennis Jr – spouse Vanessa (Ray, Keagan, Erika) and Christopher, Darlene Morrison and her children Dan – spouse Brittany (Peyton, Rylan, Talia), Tami (Damion, Kayleigh, Tianna, Taneecha, Abby and Belle), Kristen-spouse Matt and Shyla (Amelia), Roger Morrison, David Morrison and his daughters Kassandra and Kendra –spouse Nathan (JeyCee, Ceder and Teara), Jeff (Krystel) Morrison and their children Kristen (Emma), Jonny, James, Gunnar, Jordan and Tristian, Sharon Morrison (James Eastman) and their children Trevor (Javaun and Dreyson), Trish and Tucker, Kim Morrison and her children Pernell Jr., Ashton and Cedric, Joyanne (David) Dennis and their children Jesse and Jana, Shannon’s children Christine – spouse Brian (Malic, Maliza, Shannon and Bryanna), Jason Jr., Felicia, Dylan, Kayla, Brandon and Madison as well as a large extended family.

A traditional wake will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 followed by a traditional funeral service on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Roger Morrison’s home in Lac La Croix First Nation.

The pallbearers will be Albert’s family and friends.
