David McClymont

David was born on November 11, 1955 in Huntsville, Ontario. He moved to Fort Frances as a young child with his mother, Florence and brother’s Frank and Gary. He lived and worked in Fort Frances all his life at the paper mill. He loved to spend time on the lake during the summer and spent a lot of winters south with family and friends. David was known for his willingness to help others, entertaining friends, music and photography. In his last few years he engaged in online photography contests, and made friendships all over Canada.

He was predeceased by his mother Florence and her husband David Lerman; brothers Gary and Frank McClymont and stepsister Nancy Helgeson.

Dave leaves behind his stepdaughter Summer Struve (Peter Russell and Estella); nephews Terry McClymont (Theresa), Michael McClymont (Michelle) and their families; niece Jessi-Lynn; sister-in-law Linda McClymont and brother-in-law Dave Helgeson.

Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held later this summer.
