

He was born on January 18, 1941 in Fort Frances, ON to Edmund and Helen Hogan.
He leaves behind his children Randy (Connie), Rick (Twila) Jackie (Chris) & special friend Kathy; grandchildren, Brody & Brayden Hogan, Nathan Hogan, Ethan & Joclyn Armit, along with great grandchild Charlie Armit & numerous nieces & nephews. He also leaves behind siblings, Bob (Marie) Hogan, Lynne Crawford, Joanne Hodgins, Janice Carpenter, Mike (Dan) Hogan, & Jeff (Carol) Hogan.
Jack was predeceased by his parents, wife Elaine, in-laws Richard & Elizabeth Carpenter, sister Sandra Merko, sister in-law Doris Brown, brothers in-law Stan Brown, Steve Crawford, Art & Dennis Carpenter & Delbert Merko.
As a young man Jack worked at Sand Island falls picking logs, he also worked at Green’s Furniture for many years and then started his own business, Jack’s Men’s Wear. He was also the Manager of Guillevin Int’l and ended his sales career with Acklands. During his retirement Jack liked going to casinos. He also liked gardening, woodworking & pontoon boating/fishing with family & friends. He was a “Jack“ of all trades. “Buppa” will always be remembered by his grandchildren for keeping his cars very shiny & clean, sleepovers, his sense of humour, giving them lucky pennies before skating competitions & hockey tournaments, his huge heart & his immaculate yard/garden.
Dad, you will be in our hearts & thoughts forever…..until we meet again!
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
