Joseph "Joe" Gepp

Joe was born January 20, 1928 in Jagerberg, Austria. He started his career as a Butcher in Switzerland but was a handyman at heart. He built his own home, working as a logger, welder and carpenter but his first love was farming. He moved to Canada as a young man settling in the Rainy River District in 1964. One of his fondest memories was visiting many of his neigbours in Burriss.

Joe is survived by his sons Andy (Debby) and Claude (Elna); daughter Debra (Ralph); grandchildren Lauren, Adam and Julie-Anne and great grandchildren Danielle, Jason and Paige.

He was predeceased by his parents; brother Toni and sister Erma.

Friends are invited to join Joe’s family on Friday January 24, 2014 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, ON.
