Kim was born on April 9th, 1973 in Thunder Bay then moved to the family farm in LaVallee where she spent the majority of her childhood. A true city girl from the country.
As a young girl Kim loved to figure skate and spend time outdoors with her family. She attended Buriss and Cornerbrook Elementary Schools and graduated from Fort Frances High School. Kim then moved to London Ontario where she completed her dental assistant program.
Before moving back to Fort Frances she worked as a travel agent at Robert Q Services. Kim then had a successful career in the dental field and most recently the Office Manager at Rainy Lake Family Dental with her work family.
On July 31st, 2010 she married her love Scott. She not only gained a wonderful husband but she was also blessed with four beautiful step-children. Scott and Kim were devoted parents to Hailey, Calie, Jake and Jenna.
Some of Kim’s best times were spent with her many close friends. She loved having fires in the Botsford’s backyard, boating with Hamilton’s, being at the lake with Belluz’s and Burton’s, Sunday dinners with Popes and evenings with the “Wine Girls”. Kim loved her family with all of her heart. She had a special bond with her brothers and their children. Everything Kim was involved with she was very dedicated to, whether it was serving on the Relay for Life Committee or volunteering for local hockey programs. Kim also had a way of connecting with every individual that was lucky to have known her. With a kind heart and infectious smile, Kim could make every person feel special. She had an unmistakable gentle strength.
