Lucille Elaine Morrison

September 23, 1964 – July 2, 2016.

With very heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved sister, Lucille Elaine Morrison on July 2, 2016. Lucille will be welcomed by her mother Helen, her father Bill and niece Danielle. Lucille is survived by her sons Dustin and Levan, her grandchildren Dreyden and Jordyn, brothers Kelvin (Barb), Ernie (Diane), Richard (Andrea), Dennis (Vicky), Larry (Amanda), Dwayne (Olivia), Ken, sisters Marilyn (Carlos), Darlene, Jennifer (Avelino). She will also be greatly missed by her auntie Nancy Jones, uncle George Potson, cousins, friends and extended family, way too many to mention.

Lucille was born in Fort Frances and moved to Winnipeg in 1985, where she raised her children Dustin and Levan. Lucille was always there for family in their time of need and always offered advice. Lucille would always partake in teasing and she was always laughing. She was energetic, fun loving, happy go lucky person who loved her gambling and casino. She loved spending time with family and friends at gatherings and would not be shy to help out. She was a professional garage saler who always knew how to get bargains. You would always find her with her grandchildren Dreyden and Jordyn as they were her light of day.

Traditional Wake services will be begin July 5, 2016 at the Nigigoonsiminikaaning Gymnasium beginning at 4pm to be followed by traditional burial on July 6, 2016 beginning at 10am with Elder Gilbert Smith officiating. Interment to follow at the Nigigoonsiminikaaning Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dean Councillor, Randy Councillor, Terry Potson, Collin Jones, Michael Jones, and Patrick Morrisseau. Honourary Pallbearers will be Dustin Morrison, Levan Magana, Kelvin Morrison, Dwayne Morrison, Larry Morrison, Ken Morrison, Richard Morrison, Ernie Morrison and Dennis Morrison.
